Calls recording

Flashphoner records calls into the *.wav files.

Call - is a media session with two audio streams:

  • outgoing audio stream - Flash-client to Flashphoner to VoIP endpoint direction.
  • incoming audio stream - VoIP endpoint to Flashphoner to Flash-client direction.

*.wav file - is a result of mixing incoming audio stream and outgoing audio stream.

If you configured recording properly, you will get recorded calls as listed below:
2001-2004-2011-03-08-16-39-35.wav or 2001-2004-2011-03-08-16-40-34.wav

Recorded calls has such format:
caller-callee-YYYY-MM-DD-HH-MM-SS.wav

Recorded call file properties:

  • PCM uncompressed
  • 16 bit per sample
  • 8000Hz
  • wave format
